Golden Serum Dreams on Gran Vía, Madrid

Madrid is a city that surprises you when you least expect it. Walking along Gran Vía, one of its liveliest streets, you stop in front of the Metropolis Building — a baroque beauty from 1911, crowned with a gilded dome and a winged statue of the goddess of victory that has watched over the city for more than a hundred years.
